Senior Technical Expert, HUAWEI CLOUD Database Kernel

Senior Technical Expert of HUAWEI CLOUD Database Kernel, Qu Daogang possesses more than ten years of experience on researching and developing MySQL kernels. Currently in the HUAWEI CLOUD Database team, Daogang leads research and development of kernel features and service-oriented features of HUAWEI CLOUD databases (RDS for MySQL and GaussDB (for MySQL)), and addresses issues of HUAWEI CLOUD database from users' instances. Daogang has commendable experience in the official MySQL team researching and developing new features of MySQL kernel and fixing issues of MySQL kernel for more than nine years. His expertise lies in MySQL replication.

Zheng Zhiqiang

Chief Expert of Database, Huawei Cloud APAC

Seasoned IT Infrastructure and Database Architect, Zheng Zhiqiang possesses more than 24 years of experience in enterprise data center consolidation, integration and database migration professional services. As Chief Expert of Database Delivery and Service of Huawei Cloud APAC, Zhiqiang’s key responsibilities are to lead the region’s delivery and service team to drive technical solutions for various projects/customers with proper infrastructure and database migration consulting, solution designs, implementation and continuous support; as well as to support building partner ecosystems of Huawei Cloud in this region.

Kathy Sarafrazi

Data Scientist, PI.EXCHANGE

Kathy completed her bachelor's degree from Ferdowsi University, Iran in 2008, and her Master's and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Shiraz University, Iran in 2018. In her academic research and previous work, she used statistical modeling and machine learning in various problems including automated handwriting recognition, and modeling and analysis of radar data, optical images, and physiological signals. Kathy joined PI.EXCHANGE in early 2021, where she has been contributing to the development of the Engine's data wrangling process and new machine learning models.

Wu Shiwei

CTO, Huawei Cloud APAC

Having spent 15 years working in the IT industry, Shiwei has experienced various roles, ranging from Developer to Lead Solution Architect. He has led various projects in dynamic environments, and been immersed in companies of varying sizes, from working in a startup with only a dozen people to being the CTO of one of the Top 100 MNCs.

As CTO of Huawei Cloud, APAC region, one of his key responsibilities is to lead the Solutions team to address technical challenges from various projects and clients with proper solution designs; as well as to advise the R&D team regarding product/service enhancements. In addition, Shiwei also actively supports building partner ecosystems of Huawei Cloud in the region.

Su Bin

Database Expert, Huawei Cloud

Su Bin has spent more than 15 years working in the Database field, with a strong focus on the MySQL ecosystem. While with the MySQL InnoDB team of Oracle, Su Bin was responsible for several key features, such as new data dictionary, multi-value index, HEAP table, among others. Currently a Database Expert with Huawei Cloud, Su Bin strives to build a powerful cloud-native database which separates the compute and storage, while leveraging the storage advantages of Huawei Cloud, to serve its customers. Su Bin leas his team to develop advanced features and provide market-ready solutions to address customer problems.

Zhuang Fen

Director of University Ecosystem Development, Huawei Cloud

Equipped with 11 years in the IT industry, Zhuang Fen has profound experience in strategic planning, business development, and joint marketing with global partners and data protection ecosystem partners. Since 2019, Zhuang Fen has devoted her career to Cloud and AI talent development through partnerships with global universities. She leads her team to successfully initiate and implement AI talent programs in Asia, Europe, Middle East, and other regions. Their mission is to enable young people with advanced cloud knowledge and digital skills so as to embrace a fast-evolving world and lead in the digital era.
