Huawei is calling on Startups across the globe to join Huawei Spark 2021 for a chance to enter the Huawei Spark Accelerator program and play a key role in defining the disruptive technologies of tomorrow!

The Top 2 Startups will also be fast-tracked to the SLINGSHOT 2021 - Top 100 global startups as part of the SFF x SWITCH 2021 event.

This year, we have a new track - Mobile Applications - with Huawei AppGallery to discover and nurture innovative mobile apps with high growth potential.

If you have a business entity or clients in the Asia pacific region, and have commercially available services/products in one of the fields below, then Huawei wants to hear from you!

*Startups that are already a part of the Spark cohort, past winners of AppsUP 2020, or startups currently part of Huawei’s partner network are not eligible to compete

    An interview with Huawei specialists to take a deep dive into your solution.

    Sep 20 - Sep 24

    The Top 15 startups will be shortlisted.

  • Mentoring

    Sep 25 - Oct 15

    The Top 15 will be mentored by Huawei to develop their product concept and improve/practice their pitch.

  • Internal Pitch

    Oct 20

    The Top 15 will pitch virtually to a Huawei jury panel and the top 5 will be shortlisted.

Exclusive matching with Venture Capital firms:
 
  • Opportunity to meet with top tier venture capital firms of Spark VC partners
  • 1-on-1 fundraising consultation session (45 minutes) with HKSTP venture. Caveats: pertain to startups who want to expand business into Hong Kong.

Mentorship Opportunities
 
  • One-to-one pre-competition mentorship session with Huawei mentors for Top 15 selected startups
  • Opportunity to be coached by spark Advisory Council, comprising of 20 C-level industry leaders

VIRTUAL FINAL

 
Due to the COVID-19 situation, the final event for Huawei Spark Ignite 2021 will be a hybrid virtual/in-person event.
 
The Top 30 companies will receive great prizes, mentorship opportunities, and even exposure to venture capitalists.
 
The Top 2 winners of the competition will be fast-tracked to compete as a Top 100 Global Startup at SLINGSHOT 2021.
