WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Welcome to the ML-powered notebook Hackathon event! 🎉🎉🎉

In this event, we expect teams to develop a notebook running on ModelArts that sets up an assistant to work as a backend for a future assistant app. The notebook should define two functions: one that connects to the SQLite database and another that handles user input strings.

ModelArts is a one-stop AI platform that enables developers and data scientists of any skill level to rapidly build, train, and deploy models anywhere, from the cloud to the edge. It provides out-of-the-box cloud-native notebook instances, allowing you to flexibly use cloud resources for accelerated AI development and debugging.

The notebook developed in this hackathon will be powered by machine learning and will be used as a backend for a future assistant app. The assistant will be able to connect to the SQLite database and handle user input strings.

Teams will use a single Huawei Cloud account for the whole duration of the hackathon. Each team on-site will get a Huawei Cloud voucher for NNN Euros, which they will use for the development, training and debugging of their models during the hackathon.
Several example databases, questions and expected output for them will be shared with teams on-site to explain what is expected, but the input is for demonstration purposes only and should not be used to limit teams’ creativity in any way.
