APPLICATION PHASE

November 12, 2020 - February 28, 2021

Register on the platform and submit your proposal deck of 12 slides in English (PPT or PDF format), addressing the following:

Executive Summary – 1 slide
Problem Statement and Market Potential & Competition Landscape – 2 slides
Service and Business Model (e.g. what's your service and business model), and how money works (e.g. pricing structure)? – 1 slide
Sales & Growth Transaction – 2 Slides
- Service revenue of (up to) last 3 years and revenue forecast for 2021
- Size of client/user base, reference client/project
Solution Outline – 3 slides
- High-level solution architecture
- Solution USP
- Solution development roadmap & key challenge(s)
Funding Received so Far and Business Growth Roadmap – 1 slide
Team – 1 slide

Participating companies are also required to complete the submission form describing the background of the company.

The deadline for the submission will be on February 28, 2021 at 11:59pm MYT (GMT+8).

1ST ONLINE VOTING

March 1 - March 17, 2021

Huawei judges to vote on and select the semi-finalist companies based on the following criteria:

Relevance
Market Potential
Service Model
Business Traction
Technology USP Scalability & Limitations
Financial Viability
Team Strength

The top 20 companies will be selected for the next round. The results will be announced by March 18, 2021.

MENTORING PHASE

March 18 - March 30, 2021

The selected companies will be evaluated and mentored by Huawei experts and MDEC representatives to improve their proposals.

For the second voting phase, companies will be asked to submit an edited version of their slide deck from round 1 (in PPT or PDF format) and a demo video demonstrating the functionalities of their product/solution (in MP4 format):

2^ND ONLINE VOTING

March 30 - April 2, 2021

Huawei judges to vote on and select the finalist companies based on the following criteria:

Financial Viability
Team Strength

The top 10 companies will be selected for the Final event. The results will be announced on April 3, 2021.

FINAL EVENT

April 8, 2021 – Results announced on 28 April, 2021 IF the pitch is hosted online

The Top 10 finalists will pitch live to a Huawei/MDEC jury panel.
